Tinius Olsen's line of Benchtop Materials Testing Machines are designed to test a wide spectrum of materials including metals, plastics, rubber, textiles, paper, yarn, wire, adhesives, ceramics, timber, foils, composites and finished components in tension, compression, flexure or shear.
Machines build on the quality and technology of the popular and successful S series, Tinius Olsen has developed the L series of machines. The L series models have similar specifications, without the S series control panel. Instead, the L series machines communicate directly with a standard PC or network running one of our Windows based data analysis software packages, via high speed RS232 in both ASCII and super high speed binary modes.
OPTIONAL LOAD CELLS INCLUDE: Rapid change, low profile Z beam load cells with digital encoding for automatic recognition and scaling available – 10kN, 5kN, 2.5kN, 1kN, 500N, 250N, 100N, 50N, 10N, 5N
Factory Certified: This NEW component is provided thoroughly cleaned, inspected, serviced and adjusted in accordance with Factory Inspection procedures and then calibration is checked in accordance with the applicable ASTM or ISO standards. Equipment classified as “Factory Certified” is considered equivalent of all original operation specifications

Factory Certified Warranty ** - The Tinius Olsen Testing Machine Company guarantees its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for which they were intended and under condition of proper maintenance for one year from date of receipt of equipment. Equipment can be returned, freight prepaid, for refund of the purchase price if proven mechanically unsatisfactory; or repaired at Seller's option – less any fees for onsite installation and calibration.
**Optional Warranty Offered - This option extends the coverage period of the Standard Factory Warranty for one additional year – past the current applicable warranty of an item – offered only at the time of purchase
